Core Beliefs
The following are the core beliefs of John Humenik Ministries based on the foundational truths taught in the bible. All of our teaching and ministry is rooted in and flows out of these biblical doctrines.
God the Father
The Supreme Being in the universe. The Creator that spoke all that we see and don't see into existence. The Father loved us so much that He gave up Jesus as a one-time atoning sacrifice for all sins.
Jesus the Christ
Son of God. Our Redeemer, High Priest, Judge, King, and Lord. Born of a virgin, both fully man and God. Lived a sinless life, died, resurrected, and is seated in highest glory at the right hand of the Father.
Holy Spirit
The Spirit of God and Jesus. The Spirit of Truth, Power, Love, and Sound Mind. Author of the Bible. Lives within every Christian. Seals and guarantees every child of God until the day of Redemption.
Holy Trinity
God in three distinct Persons each participating in different roles in our lives. Co-equal in nature, see Philippians 2:6 for Jesus and 1 Corinthians 2:10 for the Holy Spirit. Scripture references all three as Lord in multiple places in the Old and New Testament. Jesus in Philippians 2:11 and the Holy Spirit in Acts 28:26 referencing Isaiah 6.
Bible
Inerrant Word of God. It brings life, correction, truth, and direction to all people. A love story from God about Jesus. Old Testament is Jesus veiled. New Testament is Jesus unveiled. The most preserved ancient set of documents in the world.
Salvation
Faith based.
A free gift from Jesus bought at the price of His death and resurrection.
Succinctly stated in Romans 10:9, "that if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."

Heaven (then New Earth)
Final resting place for all Christians to be with God forever. Where believers receive their just reward from the Mercy Seat of Christ.

Hell (then lake of fire and brimstone)
A real place where unbelievers will go after they die and later are judged at the Great White Throne Judgment. Eternal torment and separation from God.
